Looking ahead to 2024
You should never count your chickens before they hatch, but late summer is the time to start thinking of fall breeding and which ewes you want to place with which rams. This year I will stand two rams, FCTS Farm's Lomax and Birch painted Acres Stoney.

Lomax will have six ewes this fall. The first one FCTS Farm's Callie I think will be the most interesting to see. Her 2024 lambs will be double bred Pavlock Farms Maximillion and JJ's Desert Long Rider, an Alvizo Ranch Longfellow son. Four of the other 5 ewes are all daughters of a Gold Star ram.

Stoney will be with 5 ewes, and this side will see a heavy influence with Alvizo Ranch Longfellow. JJ's Desert Boondocks and JJ's Desert Arrow J Heartbreaker will often times show up on both sides. Here we will also have 2 mother/daughter combinations.
